If you live in fear, feel battered by words, or have to walk on eggshells–constantly controlling what you say and do in order to keep the peace–you may be traumatized or living in an unhealthy abusive relationship.

After you’ve been through a traumatic experience, it’s important to give yourself time to heal–and to allow yourself to feel whatever you’re feeling without judgment or guilt. Just remember, whether the traumatic event happened years ago or yesterday, you can heal and move on.
