Carly Lanning
Carly Lanning is a trauma-informed journalist and founder of Voices Editorial, a communications consultancy providing trauma-informed writing, editing, and strategy services to organizations supporting communities impacted by trauma.
Her work has been published in outlets including SELF, Psychology Today, Ms. Magazine, NBC News, and other national publications. She has written extensively on mental health, gender-based violence, and related social issues, with a focus on responsible, survivor-centered reporting.
In addition to her journalism, Carly has held storytelling and communications roles at organizations including The Rockefeller Foundation and YouTube, where she worked on narrative strategy, research, and digital storytelling initiatives.
