Emily Guarnotta, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist and Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional with extensive experience supporting individuals through life’s most challenging transitions. She specializes in maternal mental health and substance use disorders, having worked in residential and outpatient treatment centers, as well as community mental health settings.
Dr. Guarnotta earned her doctorate from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego and has provided clinical care in diverse settings, including community mental health, inpatient, and outpatient programs for substance use and mental health. She has also received specialized training through Postpartum Support International. She is the founder of Phoenix Health, a therapy practice specializing in the treatment of perinatal mental health conditions such as postpartum depression, anxiety, infertility, and pregnancy loss.
A passionate advocate for maternal mental health, she is dedicated to raising awareness and improving access to care for families navigating the challenges of parenthood. She is also a mental health writer and speaker, regularly contributing to conversations around emotional wellness, parenting, and the realities of the perinatal journey.
