Gary Chapman
Dr. Gary Chapman is a family counselor and author of more than forty books, including The 5 Love Languages, which has sold more than 20 million copies and been published in more than 50 languages. He has been directly involved in real-life family counseling for more than 40 years, and travels the world presenting seminars on marriage, family, and relationships.
Dr. Chapman also hosts hosts a nationally syndicated radio program, A Love Language Minute, and a Saturday morning program, Building Relationships with Dr. Gary Chapman, that air on more than 400 stations.
He holds BA and MA degrees in anthropology from Wheaton College and Wake Forest University, respectively, MRE and PhD degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and has completed postgraduate work at the University of North Carolina and Duke University.
He and his wife of 45 years, Karolyn, live in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
