Sarah Handzel, BSN, RN

Sarah Handsel is a freelance health writer with a background in nursing. She launched her freelance business in 2016 to use her health professional knowledge to educate and motivate consumers to take action for their health. Handsel previously worked in the pharmaceutical industry, operating room/surgery, endocrinology, and family practice. Her more than nine years of clinical practice help inform the content she writes.

She has a bachelor's degree in zoology from North Carolina State University and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from North Carolina Central University.
