Steve Marshall has been in health care since the late 1980s, but he has always had a passion for writing and storytelling. He began freelance health and medical writing in 2023 as a way to share his knowledge and experience with a broader audience. He holds a doctorate in nursing practice (DNP) from Old Dominion University (ODU) in Norfolk, Virginia where he grew up.
